Light of the World donated $10,500 to Haiti through the Week of Compassion. They say it takes up to 10 years to rebuild a depleted country, so we must continue to donate & contribute in anyway possible.
Light of the World Christian Church Supports our Brothers and Sisters in Haiti
The effects of the Earthquake are far reaching and even have implications within our local church body. As you lift up the people of Haiti as a whole, please keep LWCC members; Ketty Charlot and Min. Jonel and Rev. Yvette Foreste in your prayers as their families are in Haiti, and must deal first hand with this tragedy.
Light of the World Christian Church is raising a special seed offering that will go specifically toward relief for the people of Haiti. The offering will be given through "Week of Compassion" which is the outreach arm of the Disciples of Christ Church.
